Italian meatballs






Sometimes I can't help it, but I crave a huge bowl of spaghetti with italian meatballs. My favorite cuisine is definately italian, therefore I love to cook it as well. Today I will share the easiest way to create this amazing sauce!

For the meatballs you will need:

- 0,5 kg ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoon of italian seasoning and fresh basil
- some salt and pepper to taste

Mix these together, form some even sized balls and bake them in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200 degree celcius. 

Meanwhile the balls are baking, make the sauce. Saute an onion for about 4 minutes, throw in a clove of chopped garlic, one whole canned tomatoes, a bay leaf and some black pepper. Cook this for about 25 minutes. When the balls are done, put them in the sauce and cook them together for a little while. I like to sprinkle some parsley and my home grown fresh basil on the top when the dish is done!

I serve mine with whole wheat spaghetti or courgetti, but please do as you like.
